Terms of Service

This document governs use of the sarafun.app landing and the «Sarafun» Telegram Mini App (the «Service»), operated by the Sarafun project — herein «we». The project is run by two private individuals, Uladzislau Brazouski and Ilya Fomin; it has no legal entity.

The short version

A summary for those who would rather not read everything. The full terms below are what applies; each point names the section with the details.

Who we are. Sarafun is run by Uladzislau Brazouski and Ilya Fomin; the project has no legal entity. Questions — hello@sarafun.app (section 8).
Age. The Service is only for people aged 18 and over (section 1).
Free. Core functionality is free; if paid features appear, we will announce them in the community first. You can support the project with Telegram Stars (section 2).
Rules. Be truthful about yourself and respectful to other members: no spam, insults, threats or fraud. Violations may lead to access restrictions or a permanent ban, including without prior notice (section 3).
Your content. You keep the rights to what you publish; you allow us to display it within the Service with no time limit (section 4).
Liability. The Service is provided «as is», without guarantees. Meetings and exchanges between members are arrangements between you and them, and we are not liable for them. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months — zero if you paid nothing (section 5).
Changes. The terms may change; we will announce material changes in the Telegram community. If you keep using the Service after a new version is published, you accept it (section 6).
Leaving. At any time: delete your account in the settings (section 7). What happens to your data then is described in the Privacy Policy, section 11.

1. Acceptance

By using the Service you confirm that you've read these terms and agree to them. If you don't agree with any part of the terms — please don't use the Service.

The Service is intended for people aged 18 and over. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18. There is no automated age check — we rely on that confirmation.

2. What you get

Sarafun is a Telegram community for meet-ups, shared interests, book and board-game exchanges, game nights with sign-up for tables, a Random Coffee program, a request board and recommendations. The city feed shows community events and the listings feed: announcements of public events in the city from open sources, with a link to the original source. You can add the events you have signed up for to your own calendar — via a subscription link or by connecting Google Calendar. It runs as a mini-app inside Telegram — no separate sign-up or download.

Core functionality is free. We may add paid features in the future — we'll announce them in the community first. You can already support the project with Telegram Stars.

3. Your obligations

By using the Service you agree to:

provide accurate information about yourself;
treat other members respectfully;
not post spam, ads, insults, discriminatory content, threats, or fraudulent schemes; the exception for ads is a post about yourself or your business in the «Recommendations» section marked «Self-promotion»: each member may have only one such post at a time;
not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights;
not attempt unauthorised access to Sarafun systems or other users' data.

Violations may lead to access restrictions or permanent account bans without prior notice.

4. Content & intellectual property

The «Sarafun» brand, logo, interface design and site copy belong to the Sarafun project. Use without written permission is not allowed.

You retain all rights to content you publish in the Service (events, reviews, comments, photos). By posting, you grant Sarafun a non-exclusive perpetual licence to display it within the Service.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided «as is». We aim for stable operation but do not guarantee absence of errors, downtime, or data loss.

Sarafun is not a party to agreements between community members. All meetings, exchanges and interactions happen at your own risk. We are not liable for other users' actions, the quality of meetings, or the condition of items shared.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for direct and indirect damages is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months (zero if you didn't pay).

6. Changes

We may update these terms. The latest revision date is at the top of this document. Material changes will be announced in the Telegram community. Continued use after publication means you accept the new version.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account in the mini-app's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, or as needed for technical maintenance.
